Originally from the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, Marina grew up loving art, design, and the outdoors. After teaching art for 10 years to children, she studied both horticulture and biology at Oregon State University. In 1996 she returned home and earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Arkansas, Suma Cum Laude, along with a minor in Classical Languages, Spanish, and Italian.
Marina moved to Aspen in 2001 after graduating and has loved it every day since. In her 12 years of experience in the Roaring Fork Valley she has worked as a designer and project manager on numerous high-end residential projects, seeing them from conceptual design through project completion. Marina became a licensed architect in 2010 and began her own business producing architectural illustrations and renderings by hand.
Continually inspired by her travels in Europe and the Americas, Marina approaches architecture and life with insatiable curiosity. Marina lives in Carbondale with her daughter and dog, spending as much time dancing, gardening, and traveling as possible.
