About Willoughby Way:  This contemporary mountain home located in Aspen, Colorado sits on a mountain side that overlooks the town and ski slopes. The home has an open layout that is intended for multi-functional rooms and entertaining. Incorporating technology into the home was a must for the client, and the integrity of the award winning luxurious interior design and architecture was kept intact all while integrating the whole home and guest house.

The theater on the main level was a converted lounge area that required many custom features including acoustics, shades, and Steinway Lyngdorf surround sound system. The downstairs media room also opened up into an entertaining bar and billiards area. A custom sound system was installed to project the sound to the whole space. The whole home and guest house is integrated with Crestron Digital Media to include audio/video, shading, lighting, and security.

The finished project included fiber based audio and video distribution, extensive power management and protection, 34 audio and 22 video zones, separate complete media rooms, multiple audio and video sources including distributed PC access, CCTV, streaming audio and video content, all seamlessly accessed via Android tablets and touchscreen handheld remotes.
