With a degree in architecture from Texas Tech University in 2001, Brian promptly moved to the Roaring Fork Valley to pursue his passion for architecture. Brian has worked on projects across a variety of building types including commercial, mixed use, education, parks and recreation, civil, agricultural, multi-family, and residential.
Brian takes satisfaction in seeing a project from inception through completion. He enjoys hand sketching conceptual ideas and turning them into reality. Achieving a cohesive design-construction-owner team is an important goal for him. Brian is experienced in many code and zoning requirements, but is also well versed in sustainable construction techniques. His college thesis concentrated on sustainable development and he has completed a multitude of projects using green-building methods in addition to completing a LEED Certified school. Brian has worked on several award-winning projects throughout his career. Brian is a licensed architect in the State of Colorado and is NCARB Certified.
Living in the mountains brings a lifestyle that is greatly treasured by Brian and his family. Not only does working in Aspen bring fulfillment to him on a professional level, but also it grants him the ability to enjoy the other diversions of mountain living, such as hiking, camping, fishing, and skiing. Brian tries to appreciate the greater pleasures of life beyond the office and then use those to inspire his work.
