A Midwestern native, Noelle grew up in a small town in southeastern Indiana before heading to the University of Illinois on a swimming scholarship. After graduating from U of I, Noelle joined Perkins + Will in Boston, working on a variety of laboratory, biotech start-up’s and master planning projects before heading to the University of Michigan for graduate school.
After Michigan, Noelle continued honing her skills in commercial development in Chicago with Valerio Dewalt Train, managing construction administration for the British School Blackhawk Halsted Block Development and leading LEED certification on the John G. Shedd Aquarium and Blackhawk Halsted.
In 2009, Noelle made moves to pursue another passion. After eight years as a professional triathlon and swimming coach, including serving as Head Age Group Coach with Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics and five seasons as Assistant Coach with Division 1 University of Illinois Chicago, she returned to architecture when moving to Colorado in 2017 seeking the mountain lifestyle. Since finding her way to the Roaring Fork Valley, Noelle has expanded her experience to include high end residential and light commercial work.
Today, Noelle continues to connect and inspire people by way of design. With her wide range of diverse experiences, she has discovered her true passion is working in teams and collaborating with others to creatively solve complex problems to practically improve the lives of those we serve.
Outside of the studio, you’ll find Noelle swimming, enjoying the active Colorado mountain lifestyle, road-tripping the American west, or doodling in her bullet journal.
