Senior Interior Designer
Michelle is a highly regarded interior designer whose work blends refined elegance with a deep reverence for the natural world. A native of the Roaring Fork Valley, Michelle’s Colorado upbringing informs her design approach with a profound respect for context, environment, and the unique spirit of place.
After graduating top of her class with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Seattle Michelle, Michelle then studied at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she majored in Journalism and minored in Fine Art Photography, and completed the Chancellor’s Leadership Program; a foundation that continues to inform her narrative-driven and visual approach to design.
Michelle began her career in Seattle, working on a national A&E design television show that took her across the United States, honing her skills in creative problem-solving and on-site design execution. Her career continued with design and branding for high-profile hospitality projects throughout the U.S. and China for renowned hotel brands including Hotel Monaco, Viceroy, Sofitel, The Madera Washington DC, Sir Francis Drake, The Liaison, and Gemstone International Spa in Wuyuan. After returning to Aspen, Michelle has designed premier residential and commercial projects throughout the Roaring Fork Valley the beyond.
Her design is distinguished by thoughtful craftsmanship, elegant sensibility, and a deep commitment to creating sophisticated, context-responsive spaces. In her free time, Michelle enjoys exploring the natural world, and is an avid climber, skier, mountain biker and yogi.
