Desert Oasis

This new residence in Phoenix, Arizona, was designed on the site of owners’ previous 30-year-old home. The charge was to maximize daylight, the relationship between outdoor and indoor living, and position the home with minimal site impacts—all without disturbing the existing trees, which are utilized as sun shading for the new outdoor living area. The design is also the result of the client’s desire to create an open, contemporary, and organized residence in place of their former home.
