CCA’s Nick Ketpura Designs ACES Pollinator

One of our favorite non-profits in the Roaring Fork Valley is the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES). When Nick came to us and said he was designing a Pollinator for Rock Bottom Ranch, we were so elated. Nick’s work dovetails the additional projects we’ve been lucky enough to be involved in, notably the ACES Treehouse. Check out Nick’s incredible work!

“I’ve been so fortunate enough to have the opportunity to collaborate with the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies throughout the years. Function + Form were instinctively intertwined in this unique project to provide habitat for native bees and other pollinators. This structure will find its permanent home in the children’s garden at ACES @ Rock Bottom Ranch to support their regenerative agricultural education program.

If you haven’t visited their posts at Hallam Lake, Catto Center or Rock Bottom Ranch, you really should. Their work is essential to our valley and truly inspiring!

CCA Summer BBQ!

The 2019 CCA Team!

Throughout the year, we take time to celebrate our team, by getting outside to enjoy our amazing surroundings. Whether its an overnight hut trip, an afternoon skiing on Aspen Mountain or a fun kickball game in the park, CCA is always up for a good time! Last week we gathered our team and their families for a fun afternoon at Heron Park. Thanks to Hickory House (an Oprah Winfrey favorite, in case you haven’t heard), we were well fed! Park games, the beauty of the river, a stocked cooler and an amazing group of people led to the best afternoon of summer.

Without the support of the families who love our team members, we couldn’t create the work we do. Thank you to the wives, husbands, parents, children, spouses, significant others, roommates and friends (and pets!). It truly takes a village!
