Experience Aspen’s Filmfest September 21-25th

It’s fall in Aspen and that means time for the annual Aspen Filmfest. The Aspen Filmfest is a five-day festival that introduces a variety of independent productions that “enlighten, enrich, educate and entertain through film.” Now in its 33rd year, the Aspen Filmfest is featuring 20 films including new releases, acclaimed documentaries and acclaimed titles that premiered at Cannes and Sundance. Yesterday the festival got off to a great start and we are looking forward to catching a film or two.

To check out the listings and films showing at Aspen Filmfest through September 25th visit www.aspenfilm.org. Aspen Film is a non-profit 501(c)(3) funded primarily by ticket sales, the Reel People membership program, and the generosity of individual contributions.

Tickets for general evening shows in Aspen are $15 each and $13 for Carbondale evening shows. All matinees shows, beforeĀ  5 pm, are $10 each. Discounted rates are available for students and seniors.
