Residence at Crystal Lake

Recipient of several architectural awards including Mountain Living’s 2007 Home of the Year, this timeless family retreat in Aspen defined contemporary mountain architecture. It is still one of our favorite projects! By utilizing warm materials such as walnut, douglas fir, steel and dry-stacked sandstone, and by designing an open floor plan, Charles Cunniffe Architects created a seamless transition from traditional mountain architecture to contemporary.
