Thank you to Aspen Magazine / Modern Luxury for featuring one of our favorite wine cellars in their summer issue. Star Mesa was an exciting project, where the client charged our team to completely reinvent their home by Christmas, so their extended family could gather. 11 months was all we had to design and build the home, and we did it! Every single person in the office had a part – even the non-architects – and we were so happy when they arrived, unpacked and started celebrating. There are just some projects that really drive home, why we love this business. Star Mesa was one of them.
Featured in the summer issue, is the wine cellar. Just steps from this home’s great room, dining room and game room, an ascending staircase with steps handcrafted from antique white oak leads to a grand entry punctuated by a pair of cut Colorado buff sandstone columns adorned with natural ox horn lamps. Glass and wood pocket doors open to an opulent rotunda that houses a tasting table and space for over 1,100 bottles. To see the story, click here!
